I am an old black and white photo man myself. Color is what transcends the black and white overtures of the early photo industry. It is good to see that you also appreciate the effects of traditional black and white.

You may have noticed that I have been doing a critique on the Hanomag that you are featuring in your dirorama. Take some time to read through it, I hope you like what you read. I am going to have little thief reproduce your picture as a cap stone to my article if you do not mind. You have captured the intentions of the manufacture with your rendering of the picture. Germans underfire preparing for battle. I admire your abilities and the great results that you have achieved.

Thanks for the compliment "the critic" and sure you can use our photo as long as Battle Scene Productions gets credit for the photo.
Regards,
Nick

When comparing Thorsens WWI spread with yours, hands down Nick. Certainly the added effects of the photography has something to do with my choice but all the same, I'll award you the blue ribbon personally.

Thanks Fred, but there isn't as much added effects as you think. I'll see if I can find some raw photos so all can see the limited amount of enhanced photography used.
Nick

Nicks work here also amazes me. The bomb craters, the burned end on the timbers, the exposed wiring on the broken lamp post, or the exploding effects used in the diorama. All adding up to one excellent job.
In the end, Nicks job is to promote a product, his expertise is bought and paid for to help package a product for public consumption. How well he accomplishes that is directly proportional to the amount of excitement he raises for the product, in this case for Collectors Showcase Hanomag and tanks. If in the process, his expertise in diorama making is also showcased, that should provide him with a good nights sleep after a hard day work.
