No, I waved at the last minute. The economy would have gone into a complete tailspin if I had done so. So in the name of compassion for everyone who works in the camera industry, I gritted me teeth and will make another attempt tomorrow of rectifying my problems.
After all I was assured that I was a complete dufus and had no camera skills whatsoever worth mentioning. The clerk reassured me that these cameras were designed for ladies and children under the age of 10, so what is my problem anyway. Just point, push the button and that is when the magic of engineering takes over, Oh yea |

Soldier number two. We will call him Willy. That is short for Whilmingheimen. In this picture Willy is very clear. The problem was to keep him from moving. Willy constantly wanted to jump over everything.

These figures are very well defined and articulated as you can see. The uniforms are all different. I presume from the same time period as a little research would bear out. Give some notice to a little missing paint on the muzzle of his weapon. That was caused by me as I tried to straighten out a bent gun barrel. As I straightened out the barrel, the paint chipped off. I was informed this was a normal problem when rebending bent figures.

The flash on the camera distorts the color a little bit which effects the colors you see on the pictures. Michael can attest to just how close the colors come to the real figure in hand. You can also clearly make out the post on his foot for his attachment to the vehicle.

Problem number two. Another bend problem. Notice the missing paint on the handle of the shovel. Damn.
These things have to be expected but when they do, they are disappointing. The good news among the bad news is that when rebending the shovel and gun muzzle, neither one of them broke off. At least not yet. |

Just look at all this gear they are wearing. Considering most were just young men, six foot and 160 lbs. It hurts me to just thing about Willy jumping form a half track with all his gear.
Then, you have to do what you have to do.I can not pass up the opportunity to point out his facial expression. My daughter said she could fall in love with a face like that. Considering what she did fall in love with, I wish she had. |

One last picture before I place Willy back in his box. The matt finish, his facial painting and the sculptures attention to his hands and equipment is good. What I hate to do is rate him according to other brands. That I will leave in your hands as I have mixed feelings on the subject.

Just out of a particular interest, what is the new camera status?
